Heather has been voted 2011’s Gay Icon of the year by the readers of G3 Magazine. Here’s what she had to say about it:

“Wow, I’m a little stunned to be honest. Thanks to everyone who voted for me. Don’t know that I necessarily agree with you but I’m certainly not going to argue the point. “

Heather is also the guest editor of this month’s issue of G3 Magazine, featuring a lovely cover interview with her Lip Service co-star Fiona Button (Tess), a dating challenge with her friend Amelia, celebs make-up and break-up albums and some of your best and worst dating stories.

Happy 2012 everyone. The year is shaping up to be very busy for Heather and we’re excited to announce that she will be performing a couple of intimate warm up shows in February ahead of the release of her debut studio album Fairytales this spring.

Firstly Heather will kick start the Cultural Exchanges Festival at De Montfort University in Leicester on 27^th February. The box office opens on 13^th February and more details are available here

Heather will then play her first warm up show at The Y at Leicester YMCA on 28^th February. More information and tickets are available to buy from here

And then, following a massive Facebook campaign, Heather will perform for the first time in Norwich at the Norwich Arts Centre on February 29^th. More information and tickets are available to buy from here

Thanks to everyone that came along to Union Chapel for Heather’s final show last Monday, it felt a very special occasion for all concerned.

Heather is currently in the studio with legendary music producer Nigel Wright recording her debut album which we aim to release next spring. Thanks as always for all of the support, we couldn’t have got to this stage without it.
